Megan Gale

Gale aged 18 won a Perth model contest in the year she was 18. Gale was the winner of a modeling competition in Perth, at the age of 18. Following a number of years in the field, Gale became famous when she was asked to be the main character in an advertisement campaign of Omnitel which is an Italian telecoms business (now Vodafone Italy). The ads featured her through 2006, and she was selected in 2003 in 2003 by the Australian Tourist Commission as the "face for Australia within Italy.' Gale's cover appearances comprise of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia and Gioia. Italian and Australian GQ and Maxim. Australian InStyle. Gale can also be seen in editorial pages of Australian Cosmopolitan, Vogue Italia as well as Australian Cosmopolitan. Gale has been a model at Italian fashion houses, including Gianfranco Ferre, Genny, Gai Mattiolo and runway work on behalf of Mariella Burani and Angelo Marani at Milan Fashion Week. [9] Gale also favours many Australian designers like Colette Dinnigan, Kirrily Johnston Lisa Ho, Willow and Alex Perry. In 2006, she served as moderator of the Australian television awards known as the Logies. Gale announced in January 2008 that she would be retiring from runway modelling after 15 successful years. Just a few weeks later, at the launch of the David Jones winter collection in Sydney, Gale walked for the final time on the catwalk. The model wore the Wonder Woman costume she had been planning to wear to her role in the Justice League of America film, which was still in development.
